Full Description:

We move beyond just dates and events to look at the Shama'il (characteristics) of the Prophet. Who was he as a person? Why was he called Al-Amin (The Trustworthy) even by his enemies? This course is designed to instill a deep, personal love for the Prophet (PBUH) in the heart of every child, making him their role model and "best friend."

    • Understanding the titles As-Sadiq and Al-Amin.

    • How the Prophet forgave those who hurt him.

    • His love for children and how he played with them.

    • Developing trustworthiness in our own lives.

    • Description of his face, hair, and scent.

    • How he walked (energetically, like walking downhill).

    • His calming voice and gentle touch.

    • Why the people of Makkah trusted him with their treasures.

    • The importance of keeping promises.

    • Activity: The "Trust Box" game.

    • His mercy towards children (kissing his grandsons).

    • His mercy towards servants (never saying "Uff").

    • His mercy towards enemies.

    • His courage during difficult times.

    • Standing up for the truth when he was alone.

    • Defending the weak and poor.

    • He sat wherever there was space (no special throne).

    • He mended his own clothes and milked his own sheep.

    • Helping with housework.

    • Never saying "No" to anyone who asked.

    • Giving gifts and sharing food with neighbors.
